Bob Dylan Artwork, The Drawn Blank Series, in Woking, England

"Train Tracks" by Bob Dylan
Bob Dylan's Drawn Blank Series of artwork will be on exhibit at the Lightbox gallery and museum in Woking in Surrey, England. The paintings are based on a series of drawings and sketches Bob Dylan completed while on the road during the late 1980's and early 1990's. The Drawn Blank Series made its first UK appearance at Halcyon Gallery, London in June and July 2008. The show will run from November 25, 2008 through January 4, 2009.
According to the gallery, there will also be an Artist's Talk on December 17 where "a special guest will give a talk about the Bob Dylan exhibition." It does not say who that special guest will be. Perhaps it will be Bob Dylan, I don't know. Contact the gallery for more information.
Pieces from the Drawn Blank Series are available to view and purchase at BobDylanArt.com.
Earlier this year, these artworks were also released in a book titled
Bob Dylan: The Drawn Blank Series.
