Geoffrey Holder: A Life in Art, Theater and Dance
Perhaps best known as 7 Up's "Uncola Man" (as shown here) Geoffrey Holder has also played notable roles in movies such as Annie and Live and Let Die. Holder directed the Broadway musical The Wiz and was the costume designer for the movie of the same name. Actor, director, dancer, choreographer, costume designer Geoffrey Holder is also an artist. His artwork is currently on display at the Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn Harbor, New York. According to the museum, the exhibition explores many of Holder’s endeavors but looks particularly at his achievements as a visual artist. The exhibition also includes photographs, costume designs and memorabilia. The exhibition runs through February 3, 2008.
