Jane Seymour Talks About Her Artwork
Actress, artist, designer Jane Seymour spoke with The Charlotte Observer and Charlotte, North Carolina TV station WCNC about her artwork. She says that she began painting when she was going through a difficult time in her life, "I was headed to a deep depression, but painting helped me keep everything together. I painted morning, noon and night. Painting became my drug. It was incredibly healing." When asked why she created her painting and drawing starter kits she says, "I want to share one of the best things about painting: It encourages you to have fun. It's creative, enlightens your day, and puts you in a Zen kind of place. It makes you look at nature – and the world – differently." The article includes a video interview in which she talks about the inspiration for her paintings.
