Original Artwork by Frank Sinatra, Glenn Ford and other Celebrity Artists up for Auction
The Heritage Auction Galleries Signature Music & Entertainment Memorabilia Auction in October 2008 will include more than two dozen pieces of celebrity art, including: original paintings by legendary actors Frank Sinatra and Glenn Ford; original sketches by The Who bassist John Entwistle, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, and singer/songwriter Graham Nash; original drawings by music greats John Lennon and Joni Mitchell. The auction also includes photos of Joni Mitchell by Graham Nash, and limited edition prints by legendary rocker Jerry Garcia, and former Beatles John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr.
The Frank Sinatra pieces include 3 original paintings which were gifts from Sinatra to his friend Jilly Rizzo. There is also a sketch by Frank Sinatra on a tablecloth from Mirabelle Restaurant.

The three original paintings by Glenn Ford in the auction are said to be three of only about 20 paintings that Ford did in his lifetime.

The auction includes several groups of sketches by John Entwistle, including sketches of fellow singers and musicians, Elton John, Rod Stewart, and Rolling Stones - Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman.
