In late 2006, a traveling exhibition, "Anthony Quinn: A Lifetime of Creating and Collecting Art", began a tour of the US. The exhibition features paintings, drawings and sculptures by acting great Anthony Quinn, as well as items from Anthony Quinn’s collection, which include works by Henri Matisse, Pierrre Auguste Renoir and Henry Moore; African masks; Russian Icons; Pre-Columbian sculptures and Latin-American paintings. The tour began in November 2006 at the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art in Owenboro, Kentucky. In February 2007 the exhibition moved on to the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach, Florida, where it ran through May 2007. It then moved on to Lake Charles, Louisiana, at the Historic City Hall, where it is closing today. The next stop on the tour is the Museum of the Southwest in Midland, Texas, where the exhibit will open August 24, 2007 and be on display through October 28, 2007.

Anthony Quinn began sculpting and drawing as a child. He studied architecture with famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright as a teenager, and continued to create art until his death in June 2001. In 2004, the book Anthony Quinn's Eye: A Lifetime of Creating and Collecting Art was published. It is a collection of photographs and essays documenting Anthony Quinn's life in art.
