Hear the World: Photographs by Bryan Adams in New York City
Musician and photographer Bryan Adams opened his Hear the World Ambassadors Photo Exhibit last night in New York City. Hear the World is a global initiative raising awareness about the importance of good hearing and the impact of hearing loss. Bryan Adams is the official photographer of the Hear the World initiative. For the exhibit, Adams has photographed several celebrity ambassadors including Mick Jagger, Amy Winehouse, Plácido Domingo, Joss Stone, Lindsay Lohan, Annie Lennox, Michael Bublé and others. Each photograph features the celebrity ambassador in a pose of "hearing." The image posted here is Amy Winehouse by Bryan Adams.
Starting today, the exhibit will be open and free to the public for two weeks in New York's Meatpacking District at 413-415 W. 14th Street. After it closes in New York, the exhibit will travel to Berlin and Zurich. The photos will be auctioned off online, with the proceeds going to the Hear the World Foundation.
