Few people knew of famed singer, dancer, actor and rat pack member, Sammy Davis, Jr.’s love of photography. While conducting research for a documentary, biographer and longtime friend Burt Boyar found thousands of photographs taken by Davis in a warehouse. The photos include rare portraits and candid shots of his closest friends - Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Jerry Lewis, Dean Martin, Sean Connery, Paul Newman, Nat King Cole and others. Boyar compiled these photos into a book titled "Photo by Sammy Davis, Jr." The pictures are accompanied by an assortment of remembrances by Boyar.
