Postcard Diaries: Artwork by Mark Mothersbaugh on Exhibit in Berkeley and Chicago
Mark Mothersbaugh's 2008 Gallery Tour, Postcard Diaries, features high-resolution, limited edition prints of his postcard illustrations. Mothersbaugh began illustrating on postcards to send to his friends and family during his downtime on early worldwide tours with DEVO. Mothersbaugh still produces from one to a couple dozen new postcard-sized images per day.
The next showing of Postcard Diaries opens May 24, 2008 at Sacred Rose Tattoo and SR2 Gallery in Berkeley, California. There will be an opening reception Saturday, May 24 from 6pm -11pm. The show continues through July 3, 2008.
On June 6, 2008, Postcard Diaries opens at DLG Gallery in Chicago, Illinois. There will be an opening reception June 6th, 2008 from 6pm - Midnight. The show continues through July 2, 2008.
