The non-profit organization The Organic Center is making available for purchase Gicleé prints of selected artworks by musician and songwriter Jerry Garcia. The program is in cooperation with Jerry Garcia’s widow Deborah Koons Garcia.
According to The Organic Center website, four series of prints will be released in the next two years. Each series will contain four or more prints. Series One, "In the Garden," is now available and includes five prints: "Snail Garden" (shown here), "Another Butterfly", Beehive", "Banyan Tree 2", and "Butterfly Study". Individual prints can be purchased for $250.00, or the the full series can be purchased as a set for $1,000.00. Each print is labeled with the title and numbered, and embossed with the artist’s signature and the “Jerry Garcia Art -- Debra Koons Garcia” symbol. The proceeds from the sales will support the The Organic Center’s research and education initiatives.
