Pierce Brosnan Paints for Charity
Pierce Brosnan trained as a commercial artist and worked as an illustrator prior to becoming an actor. He began painting again in the late 1980's during his first wife’s illness. He is said to spend much of his free time now painting. He sells his artwork at his website to raise money for his favorite charities. Also, there are currently two of his pieces up for auction at CharityFolks.com. The pieces at auction are limited edition giclee reproductions of the paintings Bisou Moi (Kiss Me), and Macho Llorando (Cry Macho). Bisou Moi, which is shown here, was a present from Pierce to his wife Keely on Valentine’s Day. It features a nude woman standing next to yellow daffodils. If you’re interested in bidding, you’ll have to act fast, these auctions close June 22. Proceeds of these auction items will benefit the Child Development Institute.
