The Artist In Her English Garden by Jane Seymour
Multiple Emmy and Golden Globe winner Jane Seymour has also achieved success as a painter and as a designer. Seymour has also written more than 10 books, designs home furnishings, and she designs jewelry. In 2008 she teamed up with Kay Jewelers to design a jewelry collection called “Open Hearts by Jane Seymour”, inspired by one of her paintings. She also established the Open Hearts Foundation, a nonprofit charity established to raise funds to enrich the lives of children in the areas of health, arts, sports and education.
Artwork by Jane Seymour is on display at The Mahler Fine Art gallery in Raleigh, North Carolina until March 1, 2015. Seymour will make appearances at the gallery on Saturday, February 28th and Sunday, March 1st. Her appearance on February 28 will include a children’s event in the afternoon. In March, Jane Seymour’s artwork will be exhibited at the Reyes Adobe Historical Site in Agoura Hills, California. The show, sponsored by the Agoura Hills Cultural Arts Council, will run from March 3 – 31, 2015. The exhibit will include Seymour’s original and limited-edition artwork, prints, fine art sculpture, art-to-wear products, watercolor kits and Open Heart books for sale. Also on exhibit will be fine art photography from the collection of Sean M. Flynn, Seymour’s son. The opening reception with Jane Seymour will be Friday, March 13.
