Bang, Bang, Bang by Eve Plumb
Eve Plumb has been working in television, movies, and stage since the age of six. She is known to many as Jan Brady from her role in the 1970s TV sitcom The Brady Bunch. Eve Plumb is also an artist and has been painting for more than 20 years.
In a 2010 interview with PopEntertainment.com, she says:
I paint every day if I can, but life often interferes. I wind up painting about three days a week, and it usually winds up being about four hours a day spread out over eight hours. I’m not very good at portraits, but I think I would really like to try to paint architecture. I really admire architecture painters. And I do take photographs before I paint. I travel a lot to the galleries that I go to, and I travel with my husband for pleasure or for work, and that’s where I get a lot of my subject matter.
Eve Plumb has been exhibiting her artwork at galleries throughout the United States in recent years. Her next exhibition will be at Michael Ingbar Gallery in New York City. The exhibition, titled Three Faces of Eve, will consist of her Film Noir, Still Life, and NYC paintings. The show opens February 21, 2013 and continues through March 16, 2013. There will be an opening reception with Eve Plumb on Thursday, February 21, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There will also be a gallery talk by Plumb on Thursday, February 28th at 7pm.
