Painting of Giraffes by Tommy Tune
Paintings by nine-time Tony Award-winning director, choreographer and dancer Tommy Tune will be presented at Peter Glebo Gallery in New York City. The exhibition called “Longnecks,” features paintings of giraffes decorated with Playbill icons.
About his artwork, Tommy Tune says: “I paint long and tall. I champion large paintings in small spaces. They extend the horizon of a room.”
The exhibit opens June 3, 2010 and continues through August 29, 2010.
Tommy Tune talks about his artistic process and what inspires him as he works in his studio in the video at the following link: Tommy tune 24/7 pt.2
